Port Sudan is the capital of the Red Sea State situated on the eastern part of the country latitude 19`35N, longitude 37`13E.

In 1905 Port Sudan Harbor emerged as substitution Sunken Port to accommodate commercial vessels.
The Port Started with 9 berths, then steady increase in berth s construction took place.
To day more than 15 specialized berths with diverse
Draft (some berths with depth of 12.5 Meters) are ready for use.
