TheSEA Ports CORPRATION has completed its preparations to receive the delegation of the World Maritime Organization on 28 September. The Director General of the SEA Ports CORPRATION , HE Dr. Abdulhafid Saleh Ali, issued an administrative order to form a committee to prepare the maritime audit work carried out by the delegation of the World Maritime Organization Ports in order to establish the safety and security of port facilities and the development of communication systems in Sudanese ports.
The committee includes Captain Mahmoud Sayed Ahmed Hamouda, Deputy General Manager of Operations as Chairman, Director of the Marine Control Department as Alternate President and Captain Omar Saty as Rapporteur and the membership of the representatives of the relevant departments. The administrative order also stipulates the duties of the team to prepare all maritime audit requirements according to the decisions of the IMO World Maritime Organization. The meeting was also chaired by Captain Mahmoud Sayed Ahmed Hamouda. The meeting dealt with the tasks and terms of reference of the team by preparing all the requirements of the maritime audit and ensuring the need to coordinate with the relevant authorities in this field.
