Green Port

The Green Harbor :

The Green Harbor is located on the east side of Port Sudan main quays latitude 19 0 36′ 36″ north and longitude 370 14′ 30″ east. The harbor has a special marine entrance for accommodating ships.

PREFACE :
The Green Harbor is established in a long term project consists of establishing extra special quays to serve different Port handling operations .
According to the objective , The Green Harbor serves dry bulk handling , containers , and seeds. That enables Port Sudan to avail more areas for multi port operations and increase in port capacity

LOCATION :
The Green Harbor is located on the east side of Port Sudan main quays latitude 19 0 36′ 36″ north and longitude 370 14′ 30″ east. The harbor has a special marine entrance for accommodating ships.

BERTHS :
The Green Harbor comprises 2 berths on it’s first stage of establishing extend to 548m. Depth is 14.2m. beside the breadth of the harbor marine entrance which extends to 180m.

STORAGE :
The storage area of the harbor back to the berths is approximately 436000 m2. The harbor accommodates ships of 50000 ton.

SPECIALTY :
The green harbor provides the required operations in dry bulk, seeds, and containers handling.
